On the 16th of September in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) an action is going to take place commemorated to the 10th anniversary of the involuntary disappearances of Viktor Gonchar and Anatoly Krasovsky. In the program of the event — memory of the disappeared Belarusians commemoration, demonstration of a documentary, discussion and presentation of an art-project.
On the 16th of September 2008 in the center of Eindhoven, which is since 1996 a twin-city of the Belarusian capital Minsk, four trees were planted in the memory of the involuntary disappeared Yuri Zakharenko, Viktor Gonchar, Anatoly Krasovsky and Dmitry Zavadsky. This year the ceremony of commemoration will start at the trees, it'll be opened by Anatoly Krasovsky's daughter Valeriya.
Some other speakers will have the word as well, Olga Stuzhinskaya (Office for Democratic Belarus, Brussels, Belgium), Andriette Nommensen (FNV Mondiaal) and Sabine Zwiers (Amnesty International) among them. Dutch poet Arnaud Richter will read his poem which he has dedicated to the anniversary of the enforced disappearance of Viktor Gonchar and Anatoly Krasovsky.
After the ceremony participants of the event will be invited for presentation of travelling theatre project 'Show your Hope' of Martin Voorbij in which some Belarusian artists in immigration are involved. After the presentation demonstration of documentary 'A Lesson of Belarusian' (Miroslav Dembinski, Poland, 2006) will take place. The event will be closed by discussion about Belarus.
