Today, January the 16th, in The Hague, Netherlands, traditional Solidarity Day with the victims of the political regime in Belarus took place. The action was initiated by We Remember foundation.

Peaceful demonstration of solidarity with the family members of involuntary disappeared Yuri Zakharenko, Viktor Gonchar, Anatoly Krasovsky, Dmitry Zavadsky and with those Belarusians who got arrested on December 19 and in the days after in Minsk took place in front of the Belarusian Embassy from 14:00 till 15:00 local time.

Participants of the action hold portraits of the Involuntary disappeared Belarusians and numerous posters with slogans, such as: «Freedom for all political prisoners!», «Freedom for prisoners of consciousness!», «Give children their parents back!». The action gathered many participants who came from different parts of the Netherlands. Participants of the action were wearing white-red-white scarves, which were delivered from the European Parliament.

The weather was great today in the Netherlands, and therefore many people were outside. Numerous passers greeted participants of the action, read the posters carefully, expressed their solidarity with the people of Belarus.
