Zambia ratified The UN International Convention for the Protection of all Persons from Enforced Disappearances

On April the 11th Zambia ratified The International Convention for the Protection of all Persons from Enforced Disappearances.

Since the 20th state (Iraq) ratified this treaty on the 23rd of November 2010, the convention entered into force on the 23rd of December 2010 as states the convention itself in article 39. In the case of Armenia, the convention entered into force on the 24th of February 2011, also 30 days after the ratification instruments were deposited.

Zambia became the 24th state to ratify the treaty.
