On June 16, activists of European Belarus civil campaign held an action in Warsaw to show solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners, charter97.org reports.

The event was carried out at the entrance to Warsaw University and drew attention of students, numerous tourists and Poles, who are not indifferent to the Belarusian tragedy.

Activists were handing around leaflets with information about political prisoners. Warsaw residents signed under the EP’s resolution on imposing economic sanctions on Lukashenka’s regime.

European Belarus campaign plans to hand over the gathered signatures to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.
