Solidarity in Vitebsk
December 17 2012

A banner “Freedom for political prisoners” was hanged out on 16 December in Vitebsk, Charter`97 reports.

The action was held on the Solidarity Day by the activists of the Belarusian Christian Democracy, bchd.info reports.

They hanged out a white-red-white flag and a banner “Freedom for political prisoners” on a railway bridge in Zelenogurskaya street.

We would remind that 16 of every month is the day of solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners and also the disappeared politicians, civic activists and their families. On this day solidarity actions are traditionally held in many different countries and capitals of the world.
