Sheiman dismissed from Security Council
January 09 2013

Lukashenka has appointed Viktar Sheiman his special aide, charter`97.org reports.

The head of state relieved him of his post as a special aide in the State Secretariat of the Security Council of Belarus.

Lukashenka signed appropriate decrees on January 8, his press service informs.

The dictator relieved Valyantin Rybakou of his post as an aide due to a transfer to another appointment. Sheiman in no case replaces Rybakou, because the latter dealt with foreign political affairs.

Lukashenka’s son Viktar remains presidential aide for national security in the Security Council.

Viktar Sheiman is suspected by the international community of involvement in kidnappings and killings of Belarusian opposition leaders. He is still among the officials especially close to the dictator.
