Belarus Connection
On Human Rights debate Belarus Connection took place at Club Bitterzoet in Amsterdam. Reason for this event were the upcoming presidential elections on the 19th of December in Belarus. During this event, Belarusian and Dutch experts from the trading business, politics, science and human rights organizations discussed the role of the Netherlands in stimulating democracy and development in Belarus. We Remember representative Valeriya Krasovskaya took part in the debates.

Discover Love
The Young Vic Theater of London hosted the UK premiere of Discover Love play by Free Theatre. The guest appearances included Adjoa Andoh, Jude Law, Ian McKellen, Sienna Miller and Samuel West. The play is based on the true story of involuntary disappeared Anatoly Krasovsky and his wife Irina .

«We Remember» book presentation
A presentation of the book based on the stories of relatives, close friends and colleagues of Gennady Karpenko, Yury Zakharenko, Viktor Gonchar, Anatoly Krasovsky and Dmitry Zavadsky took place in Minsk on November 16th.

The illustrated 468 pages book has been compiled by screenwriter Uladzimir Khalip.

ICAED/WGEID working meetings
The United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances(WGEID) held its 92nd session in November 3 to 12 2010, at the United Nations Office in Geneva. On 6 November 2010 in Geneva a working meeting of the Steering Committee of the International Coalition Against Enforced Disappearances (ICAED) took place. Irina Krasovskaya attended both events.

7th Yalta Annual Meeting
The 7th Yalta Annual Meeting Ukraine and the World: Re-Thinking and Moving On took place on September 30 – October 3, 2010. We Remember founder Irina Krasovskaya was invited to attend the meeting.

The event was organized by Yalta European Strategy (YES) and brought together international leaders from political, business and social spheres to debate global issues affecting Ukraine and Europe.

Disappeared but not Forgotten
In Eindhoven, Netherlands, an opening of the photo exposition Verdwenen maar niet vergeten (Disappeared but not Forgotten) took place on the 16th of September. Afterward a commemoration ceremony was held to mark the 11th anniversary of Viktor Gonchar and Anatoly Krasovsky disappearance. The photo exposition was opened by elderman Staf Depla. A word by daughter of Anatoly Krasovsky Valeriya and FNV representative Leo Messman was said.

Working trip to Indonesia
From the 27th of May till the 10th of June 2010 a large-scale event on the issue of enforced disappearances took place in Jakarta and Bogor, Indonesia. We Remember founder Irina Krasovskaya was invited to take part in the event. The event consisted of three activities: the meeting of the International Coalition Against Enforced Disappearances (ICAED), the Public Forum on the issue of enforced disappearances and AFAD Congress including Forensic Training. Irina Krasovskaya stayed in Indonesia till the 6th of June and participated in all the parts of the event except for the training.

Brussels Forum

On March 26-28 Andrei Sannikov and Irina Krasovskaya presented Belarus at the famous Brussels Forum, which gathered the political, economic and intellectual elite of the world. Traditionally heads of states, leaders of the EU, Foreign Ministers, senators, US Congressmen, official persons of Canada, Ukraine, Russia, parliamentarians, public leaders and scientists have taken part in the work of the forum.

Spring is in the Air
On February the 12th in contemporary art gallery Delicatessen in Amsterdam, Netherlands, personal exposition of paintings of Lera Krasovskaya was opened. On the exposition over thirty recent paintings were presented, Give me Power my Homeland, Belarusian Landscape, Shine, Spring, Penetration among them. During the opening ceremony Lera Krasovskaya donated her painting symbolizing the definition of enforced disappearance to the Dutch NGO Aim for Human Rights, which is a member of the International Coalition Against Enforced Disappearances.

Training of Trainers on Legal Aspects of Enforced Disappearances
Training of Trainers on Legal Aspects of Enforced Disappearances was organised by the programme Linking Solidarity of Aim for human rights and was hold in Venice, Italy, from 18 until 22 of January 2010. The Training was hosted by Monastery of San Nicolò, which is also hosting the European Inter-University Center. Valeriya Krasovskaya was invited to take part in the training.
